The Baculovirus Expression Vector System (BEVS) enables high-yield expression of complex proteins with mammalian-like post-translational modifications. AtaGenix provides one-stop services using Sf9, Sf21, and Hi5 cell lines to meet diverse protein expression and R&D needs.
Foreign genes are precisely fused with baculovirus vectors (e.g., AcMNPV) and recombined efficiently in Escherichia coli using Bac-to-Bac or FlashBAC systems, followed by high-yield protein production in insect cell lines (e.g., Sf9, Sf21, Hi5) driven by strong promoters. The system ensures safety, supports multi-protein co-expression, preserves protein activity through proper folding and modifications, and enables cost-effective large-scale production under simple culture conditions.
